REWARDS
Currently, a VaporFi node (“Vapornode”) generates a base reward of 1% of its value daily, distributed every minute (CHANGES to various taxes and bonuses are under consideration, read about these changes).
In addition to that, the rewards can be further enhanced through two additional bonuses – Diamond Hands bonus (up to 1.30 times base every 40 days) and Compound bonus (20% for nodes less than 5,000).
Steps to Create a Node
- Obtain sufficient AVAX for conversion to $VPND for creation of a Vapornode
- The minimum amount needed for creating a node is 1,000 $VPND and there is no maximum
- There is a maximum of 5 nodes per wallet.
- Purchase AVAX or trade another coin (such as Bitcoin) for AVAX
- Use Coinbase or other favorite exchange for purchase or conversion
- Create a MetaMask wallet
- Can be added as an extension
- Add the Avalanche network to the MetaMask wallet.
- Connect your MetaMask wallet to Trader Joe
- On Trader Joe swap AVAX for $VPND
- Leave some amount of AVAX (say $10 to $15 worth) in wallet to pay Avalanche network gas fees when purchasing/creating Vapornode
- Need at least 1000 $VPND to create a Vapornode
- Go to VaporFi and create a Vapornode!
